Spiros was admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2015. Having worked with numerous boutique law firms in the Sydney CBD, Spiros brings with him vast experience and knowledge in different legal areas. Spiros and his sister, Esmae, have a practical understanding of law and of the needs of their clients having established Mihalatos & Associates Solicitors with the intention of bringing a family-feel back to legal practice.

Spiros has experience in an array of different legal practice areas and is particularly versed in corporate and commercial law. Spiros works closely with technology start-ups and small to medium businesses in an effort to reduce their legal risk and foster the development and success of his client’s businesses.

Spiros has interest in interpreting the law, explaining complex legal technical issues and providing practical solutions for his client in an efficient and effective manner.

  • Advising business owners and technology start-ups in relation to their obligations in relation to the Australian Privacy Principles set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and ensuring their Privacy Policies are compliant with the regulations.
  • Employment Law particularly advising business owners in relation to their obligations pursuant to the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth) and providing advice in relation to strategies to ensure compliance.
  • Corporate Succession Planning.
  • Advising on corporate structures to protect their assist and minimise risk.
  • Assisting in the commercial and retail leasing areas.
  • Civil Litigation, debt recovery and Council Development Consent disputes.
  • Intellectual Property disputes and litigation.
  • Apprehended Personal and Domestic Violence Orders.
